Born and raised in Zadar, Croatia, Josip has a lifelong connection to the sea. After completing maritime school in his hometown, he continued building both his life and career there. His sailing journey began at just seven years old in dinghy classes, and he remains an active regatta competitor today.

In 1997, Josip co-founded a charter company with his father, which he now successfully manages alongside his sister. With extensive sailing experience across the Mediterranean, he also brings a deep passion for fishing and a love of travel—especially throughout Southeast Asia
