COMMENTS :

S/Y CAPO DI FORA is a fast and comfortable sailing yacht for long voyages. Her design and philosophy were inspired by the first Open 60 Imoca designed by Groupe Finot, and from the well-known series of the Levriers des Mers also designed by Groupe Finot and built by Leguen Hemidy. The result is a performance cruising yacht, stable in all conditions and equipped with racing type rigging with a carbon mast, but also with exceptionally comfortable accommodation. CAPO DI FORA has twin rudders, which give great stability especially down wind. The construction is excellent. All the bilges are painted and the thermal insulation adds to the comfort.

She has had one owner and underwent a major refit in 2003 and 2010.

DECK/COCKPIT

The deck is large and free for manoeuvring and going through. A panoramic roof is above the chart table and companionway. This is great for keep watch at sea setting at the navigation station.

The cockpit is very spacious with a large 8 people dining table and settees.

The companion way is large and gives an easy access to the interior.

Aft of the steering position, there is a huge transom where the semi rigid rubber dinghy can easily with no effort be stored.

ACCOMMODATION

The accommodation is large, spacious and clear. The furniture is in light brown colour wood (sycamore) and the floors are in darker wood.

The chart table which is on a upper level compared to the rest of the accommodation is a true watch keeping position and gives a panoramic view over the horizon.

Forward and on a lower level, are a spacious saloon on port and large galley on starboard.

The two aft cabins have their own bathrooms. There clear and spacious.

The forward owner cabin is just forward of the saloon. It is specially large and comfortable. It has its own bathroom.

CHART TABLE

Under the coach roof, it is a great place to sit at sea during the day as well as at night.

All the electronic is closed around the chart table.

SALOON

Forward of the chart table, there are a few steps into the saloon on port. Large settees and a nice dining table for up to 8/10 people.

CABINS

Forward to aft :

One crew cabin with a double bed, one upper bunk and bathroom.

A very large and spacious owner cabin with a double bed on port, a little settee and table on starboard and plenty of storage. It has its own nice bathroom with electrical toilet.

Two symmetrical aft cabins on each side of the companion way each with a large double bed, plenty of storage and its own bathrooms.

SHOWER ROOM/HEAD

04 bathrooms. The owner’s cabin bathroom is equipped with an electrical toilet.

The galley is large, well-equipped and easy to use:
