The owner has a new vessel arriving shortly, so this very well maintained passenger cat is to be sold. It is very hard to find a good used cat of this size and condition at the moment. Built in 2000 by Norman Wright in Brisbane, to Incat Crowther design. Twin 317 hp Scania diesels give 17 knots cruise and 22 knots wot. Seating for 69 in the main saloon, 16 on the foredeck and 56 up on the sundeck. Carries 6,000 lt of fuel and 500 lt of fresh water
Engine
Twin Scania DSI9 diesel mains. Serviced and maintained to a very high standard. 317 hp each @ 1900 RPM. This is the heavy duty rating and there is no limit on service time at wide open throttle ( wot ). The same engines with light duty rating produce 494 hp @ 2300 rpm. These engines are run for 2 hours per cruise. Comprising of 1 1/2 hours @ 1200 rpm and 1/2 an hour @ 1900 rpm. Fuel consumption at these speeds works out at 30 liters per hour total.
