Built in 1996 by Armon Shipyard in Spain, this vessel was extensively upgraded in 2019. It was lengthened by 4 meters and received new bow tanks, auxiliary engines (2), a main engine, as well as new cranes and conveyor belts.
The vessel flies the Spanish flag and is fully compliant with all necessary navigation certifications. It holds EEC fishing licenses for Gambia, Mauritania, Senegal, Cape Verde, and Guinea Bissau. The asking price is €2.6 million.
This vessel can carry 124 tons of tuna, which is less than the 230 tons capacity of the TUN_05C. However, it is nine years newer and was completely renovated just five years ago. It is versatile enough to handle purse seine operations from the stern, though it lacks the triples needed for raising the net. Fish can be stored in tanks and either frozen or kept fresh with refrigerated seawater at 2°C.
Its versatility also makes it suitable for purse seiner fishing.
The details of all vessels are offered in good faith but we cannot guarantee or warrant the accuracy of this information nor warrant the condition of the vessel.
